About
Welcome to Leena's Food, a hidden gem nestled inside a gas station at 4180 William Penn Hwy, Murrysville, PA. This unassuming spot may catch you off guard, but don’t let its location fool you. Leena's Food is where flavor reigns supreme, and Mediterranean dishes flourish. From gyros to dolmas, each dish embodies the love and care that the owner, Mohammed, pours into crafting authentic flavors.
If you are in the mood for a taste explosion, then you must try the gyros, which have received rave reviews from patrons like Tricia Sokol who described them as "hooked up." Imagine pita bread bursting with perfectly spiced meat, an experience that’s both filling and tantalizingly good. Savor the grape leaves and falafel platter, which Adrion Ren Druhan highlighted as the best vegetarian option in the area, paired with fries and a refreshing cucumber sauce that will elevate your meal to new heights.
Leena's Food isn't just about the food; it's about the experience. Visitors like Kyle Johnson appreciate the fresh ingredients and warm hospitality. You’ll find Mohammed engaging with customers, sharing stories and smiles while you wait for your order. Joshua Troiani even humorously notes that Mohammed claims to serve “the best gyros and falafel in the world," and after a taste, you'll agree with him. Each bite is a testament to the soul food philosophy that drives Muhammad’s culinary creations.
Don’t miss out on the magic at Leena's Food. As Isabelle Tucker eloquently pointed out, this spot is anything but a standard gas station eatery. Over the years, she and countless others have driven past, narrowly missing out on what could be their new favorite Mediterranean haunt. So, take a detour, enjoy the generous portions, and experience the delicious, homemade goodness that has everyone raving. Trust me, a visit to Leena's Food will make you a regular in no time!
“ I was working out in the area and was in the mood for a gyro. I found this place online and figured I'd try it out. I was not disappointed. I got grape leaves and a gyro. The gyro was hooked up! The guy was very friendly also and carried on conversation with me while I waited for my food. If you're following GPS, it will take you to a gas station. They're located inside the gas station, to the right, when you walk in. (Sorry for the pic with it being half gone, but you're able to see how packed the pita bread was.) ”
“ Stopped in on our way home from Pittsburgh and got some very good Mediterranean food! The owner was very friendly and everything was fresh. ”
“ Delicious grape leaf dolmas and over all very filling falafel platter. Best spot for vegetarian option in the area:) Fries dipped with the cucumber sauce were super dank as well many thanks! ”
“ If you haven't been to Leena's-GO. GO NOW. Mohammed has a paper stating in writing that he makes the best gyros and falafel in the world, and he has the flavor to back it up. Go in, get a Gyuritto, and some hummus, and ask for some extra hot peppers to go with it. Unbelievable. It's truly soul food. In his own words "everything I have here I make myself... except meat, I'm not God" and you can just tell the love he pours into every bite. My fiance and make an attempt to go every week. It's well worth the half hour drive. ”
“ The food was absolutely delicious! We drove past this place for years and we're turned off by the gas pumps thinking "gas station gyros?". I will tell you, we were so wrong! Delicious, filling, generous portions, and over all amazing! ”
“ Truly a hidden gem! Don't let the gas station distract from the delicious food that Muhammad is serving here. He was very kind and wonderful to talk to, and the food speaks for itself. Deliciously tender meat, fresh and creamy cucumber sauce and the spicy pepper relish made for a very yummy gyro. The baklava was the perfect sweet end to the meal. Can't wait to come back and try the falafel! ”
“ Amazing food. We sampled almost everything on the menu. Absolutely the best Baklava that I have ever had. Ample portions. Mohammed was very friendly and generous. We got gyro, chicken kebab, grape leaves, hummus, spinach pie, and falafel. Everything was delicious. Will definitely return. ”
“ Hands down the best gyro I’ve ever had in my life. And if you like spicy food, you absolutely must order the extra hot peppers. Legit one of the best foods I’ve ever eaten in my life. Don’t let the gas station fool you. This guy is not playing around when it comes to gyros. And get the baklava as well for a treat, it’s homemade and delicious ”
